Cheesy Ham Potatoes

1 (32-ounce) package frozen diced potatoes
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of potato soup
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of celery soup
1 cups cooked ham, cubed
1 (8-ounce) container sour cream
2 green onions, chopped
1 cup milk
1 salt and pepper to taste
1 (10-ounce) package sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded and divided


Combine all ingredients except cheese until well blended. Add half the cheese; stir well and spoon into a lightly greased 13"x9" baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for one hour. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Tip: A handy all-purpose seasoning to keep by the stove…simply mix 6 tablespoons salt and one tablespoon pepper and fill a large shaker. It's just right for sprinkling on pork chops, burgers, chicken and homestyle potatoes!
