Would You Carrot to Dance Smoothie |

Although you don’t often find a recipe for a smoothie in a juicing cookbook, I could not resist adding this one that is made with fresh carrot juice. The carrot juice should be well chilled, and the apple and banana should be placed in the freezer for at least 30 minutes before blending the ingredients into a smoothie.
1 cup carrots juice
1/2 tablespoon honey
1 cup diced apples
1 cup peeled and sliced bananas
1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
3/4 cup crushed ice
Place the carrot juice, honey, apple, banana, yogurt, and ice in a blender; mix on low speed until the banana is pureed. Continue mixing, gradually increasing the speed, until the mixture is smooth. Pour into two glasses and garnish each with an Orange, Lemon, and Cherry Combo (see Garnishes with a Twist), if desired.
