Print this Recipe
You’ll get a real kick from this juice, especially if you add more than the suggested amount of hot pepper sauce.
2 carrots, cut into 2- to 3-inch lengths
2 stalks celery, cut into 2- to 3-inch lengths
6 plum tomatoes, halved
1/8 teaspoon (scant, more or less) hot pepper sauce
1/8 teaspoon (scant or more) ground coriander
1/8 teaspoon (scant) salt
1/8 teaspoon (scant or more) freshly ground pepper
Alternate adding half the carrots and celery to the juicer, then the tomatoes, followed by the remaining carrots and celery; process until juiced. Pour the juice into a glass containing three to four ice cubes. Add the hot pepper sauce, coriander, salt, and pepper and mix well. Garnish the rim of the glass with a Lemon Wheel (see Garnishes with a Twist), if desired.
