Overnight Layer Salad

Ingredients

1 medium head lettuce, torn
4 ribs celery, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 (10-ounce) box frozen peas, thawed but not cooked
3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
6 slices bacon, fried crisp, crumbled
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Place lettuce pieces in bottom of large glass or wooden bowl. Sprinkle the celery over lettuce, the green onions over celery, peas over the green onions, then eggs and half of the bacon. Make a dressing by combining the sour cream, mayonnaise, sugar, and garlic salt. Pour dressing over salad. Sprinkle parmesan cheese and remaining bacon over top. Chill overnight before serving.
