Butter Churn Croutons

Ingredients

6 slices stale bread
4 tablespoons butter
1 dashes of seasoned salt, garlic salt, red pepper, and lemon pepper

Directions:

Cube bread. Melt butter in large skillet. Add seasonings, then add bread cubes all at once and stir to coat evenly. Spread on cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes in 325° oven, then turn it off and leave in the oven for several hours.


Fun Fact: Over 8,000 years old, The Natchez Trace was originally a Chicksaw Indian trail through Central Mississippi. It was extended, improved, and made a U.S. mail route by 1801. Its 500 inns and trading posts became deserted after steamboats came into use and it fell into disrepair. Today it is a national parkway, lush with unobstructed, natural scenic beauty, and extends from Natchez, Mississippi, to Nashville, Tennessee.
