Homemade Sesame Crackers

Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 cup yogurt
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 tablespoon corn oil
3/4 cup ice water

Directions:

1. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick vegetable cooking spray.

2. Sift together the first four ingredients. Cut in the yogurt.

3. Toast the sesame seeds in the oil and add to batter.

4. Mix in ice water. Knead lightly (20 strokes).

5. Roll to 1/8 inch thick. Cut with knife or cookie cutter.

6. Prick all over the fork. Bake on cookie sheet at 350°F for 10 minutes or until crackers are light brown. Cool on a wire rack. They will crisp as they cool.

7. Store in lightly covered container.
