Wash asparagus thoroughly, peel stalks and cut into 1/2 inch diagonal slices. Heat oil in wok or large frying pan. Add garlic and nuts. Stir-fry until well coated. Add sliced asparagus stir-fry until asparagus is crisp-tender, 3 to 5 minutes. Season to taste with soy sauce. Serve immediately.
