Porcupine Meatballs

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
3/4 cup white rice, uncooked
2 tablespoons onions finely chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3/4 teaspoon celery salt
3 3/4 cups tomato juice
6 cloves whole
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce


Combine ground beef, rice, onion, salt, and celery salt. Form into balls 1 1/2 inches in diameter. In large saucepan combine and heat remaining ingredients to boiling. Drop in meatballs. Lower heat, cover tightly and simmer 50 minutes.
