   1 cup butter real
   1 1/2 cups sugar
   3 eggs lightly beaten
   1/4 cup milk
   1/2 teaspoon baking soda
   Pinch salt
   2 cups flour
   1 teaspoon nutmeg ground
   1 teaspoon cinnamon ground
   1 1/2 cups raisins
1/2 cup walnuts chopped or pecans

Heat oven to 375° F. Cream butter and sugar together; blend in beaten eggs. Mix together milk, baking soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture. Add flour, nutmeg, and cinnamon; mix well. Stir in raisins and nuts. Spread on 2 well-greased jelly roll pans. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Cut into squares while hot.

Note: These cookies are delicious. If baking both jelly roll pans at the same time, alternate shelf position after 5 minutes.
