1 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 1/2 cups potatoes cooked, peeled, cubed new
1 10-ounce package peas frozen, cooked and drained

Melt butter or margarine in a medium saucepan; blend in flour and salt. Add milk; stir and cook until thick and bubbly. Add potatoes and peas to hot mixture; heat through. Garnish with a little chopped pimiento, if desired. Pour some melted butter over the top just before serving for a richer flavor.
