2 squash acorn
Salt and pepper
1/4 cup butter or margarine
6 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ground
Cut acorn squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds. Bake cut-side down in a shallow pan at 350° for 35 minutes or until tender. Turn cut-side up; season with salt and pepper, dot with butter or margarine and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Continue baking 20 minutes longer.
