Combine brown sugar, nuts, syrup and 4 tablespoons butter in an ungreased 13"x9" baking pan; set aside. Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar and remaining butter until smooth; set aside. Press biscuits into 4-inch circles; spoon one tablespoon cream cheese onto the center of each. Fold dough over cream cheese, forming finger-shaped rolls. Arrange rolls in 2 rows, seam-side down, over brown sugar mixture in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes, until golden. Let cool for several minutes; turn out onto a serving plate.
Tip: Turn plain bagels into an almost-homemade delight…stir 1/4 cup of your favorite jam into an 8-ounce container of whipped cream cheese. So yummy on toasted bagels!
