1 Core, peel, and slice apple. Slices should be no thicker than ¼ inch.
2 Mix together sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, melted butter, and dried fruit.
3 Arrange apples in a prepared deep microwave safe dish. Top with sugar mixture and cover.
4 Microwave for 3-4 minutes or until apples are tender. Let rest for a few minutes before serving with ice cream or whipped cream
