Ingredients

1 cup coffee, brewed and cooled
1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar, divided
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons almond-flavored liqueur or 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (16 ounce) pound cake, sliced into 30 slices
1 tablespoon baking cocoa

Directions:

In a medium bowl, combine coffee and one tablespoon sugar; set aside. Using an electric mixer set on medium speed, beat cream cheese until fluffy; add remaining sugar and almond liqueur or extract. Gently fold in whipped topping and set aside. Layer 10 cake slices on the bottom of a ungreased 13"x9" baking pan. With a pastry brush, apply 1/3 of coffee mixture to cake. Top with 1/3 of cream cheese mixture. Repeat 2 more times to create 3 layers. Sprinkle cocoa over top and refrigerate overnight.

Dip the rim of a mug into melted chocolate, then quickly dip the rim in crushed peppermints. Fill with creamy cocoa and marshmallows, then sit back and enjoy.
