I recently purchased your Cook'n Recipe Software and love it! I have tried several other cookbook programs but found them unsatisfactory.

My main goal was to put my own recipes into a system that was easy and quick. I have put in about 20 so far, and I love it. It is so easy to use.

I have tried several of your recipes and they all have been wonderful!

Thank you!!

1. Heat oven to 450°.

2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Cut in shortening, using pastry blender or crisscrossing 2 knifes, until mixture looks like fine crumbs. Stir in milk until dough leaves side of bowl (dough will be soft and sticky).

3. Place dough on lightly floured surface. Knead lightly 10 times. Roll or pat ½ inch thick. Cut with floured 2 to 2 ¼-inch round cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 1 inch apart for crusty sides, touching for soft sides.

4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Serve warm.

A NOTE from DR. GHOSH
If you're on a fiber- and residue-restricted diet, these simple biscuits may be just for you. They're both low fiber and low residue, and can be eaten alone or with a meal.

"To save time, I made drop biscuits with this recipe. I increased the milk to 1 cup and dropped them onto a greased cookie sheet. I liked keeping these on hand and reheating them whenever I needed a little something to eat." -Theresa H.
