Prep: 10 min * Bake: 25 min * Cool: 1 hr
24 Bars

1 package Betty Crocker SuperMoist white (vanilla) cake mix
___ cup butter or margarine, melted
   _ tablespoons water
   _ eggs
   _ 1/2 cups dried cranberries
1 cup white vanilla baking chips

1- Heat oven to 350°. Grease bottom only of rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches, with shortening; lightly flour.

2- Mix cake mix, butter, water and eggs in large bowl with spoon until dough forms (some dry mix will remain). Stir in cranberries and white baking chips. Spread evenly in pan.

3- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.

High Altitude (3500 to 6500 feet): Bake 25 to 30 minutes. When melting white baking chips and chocolate chips with shortening as directed in Betty's Tip, use 1 1/2 teaspoons to 1 tablespoon shortening so melted mixture is thin enough to drizzle.

Betty's Tip: These bars look especially festive when topped with white chocolate. To make white chocolate drizzle, melt 1/3 cup white baking chips and 1 1/2 teaspoons shortening in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently, until melted and smooth. Drizzle melted white baking chip mixture over cooled bars. Let stand 30 minutes or until set.
