   _ package Betty Crocker SuperMoist chocolate fudge cake mix or devil's food cake mix
   ___ cup butter or margarine, melted
   ___ cup water
   ___ cup packed brown sugar
   _ eggs
   _ cup chopped nuts
   _ cups miniature marshmallows
   Easy Chocolate Glaze or Chocolate Glaze (see Fabulous Frostings and Glazes chapter)


1- Heat oven to 350°. Grease bottom and sides of rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches, with shortening.

2- Mix half of the cake mix, the butter, water, brown sugar and eggs in large bowl with spoon until blended. Stir in remaining cake mix and the nuts (some dry mix might remain). Spread in pan.

3- Bake 20 minutes; sprinkle with marshmallows. Bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until marshmallows are puffed and golden. Drizzle Easy Chocolate Glaze over bars. Cool completely, about 1 hour. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.

High Altitude (3500 to 6500 feet): Add 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour to dry cake mix. Decrease butter to 1/4 cup; increase water to 1/2 cup. Bake 30 minutes; sprinkle with marshmallows. Bake 8 to 10 minutes longer.

Betty's Tip: If you line the pan with aluminum foil, you can lift out the bars for easy cutting and cleanup. To make bar cutting a breeze, use a plastic knife dipped in hot water.
