These melt-in-your-mouth biscuits are especially good with any meal. The next time you make them, experiment with a different cheese, such as smoky Cheddar or pizza mozzarella.
2 cups Original Bisquick® baking mix
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (2 ounces)
1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1. Heat oven to 450°.
2. Mix baking mix, milk and cheese to make a soft dough. Beat vigorously 30 seconds. Drop 10 to 12 spoonfuls dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Mix margarine and garlic powder; brush on warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet. Serve warm.
