Jerk Turkey Panini


Serves: 4

Ingredients

8 slices crusty bread, 1/2 inch thick
2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened
1/2 pound thinly sliced cooked deli turkey
1 medium papaya, peeled, pitted and sliced
4 slices (1 ounce each) Monterey Jack-Colby cheese with jalapeno peppers
1/4 cup jerk seasoning or fruit chutney

Directions:

Spread one side of each bread slice with margarine. Place 4 bread slices margarine sides down top with turkey, papaya and cheese. Top with remaining bread slices, margarine sides up. Cover and cook sandwiches in 12-inch skillet over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes, turning once, until bread is crisp and cheese is melted. Serve with sauce.
