3 (8-oz) pkg Italian bread shells or 6 pita breads (6 inch diameter)
3/4 c barbecue sauce
1 1/2 c cut-up cooked chicken
3/4 c shredded smoked or regular cheddar cheese (3 ounces)
6 tbs chopped red onions
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Place bread shells on ungreased large cookie sheet. Spread barbecue sauce on bread shells to within ¼ inch of edges. Top with chicken and cheese. Sprinkle with onion. Bake 7 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
