1/4 pound chipped beef or shredded dried beef
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Toast
Cook beef and butter until edges frizzle. Remove meat from skillet. Add flour and blend with butter. Gradually add milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Cool until thickened. Add meat and spoon over toast.
