Hamburgers Hawaiian

Ingredients

2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2/3 cup cracker crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1 (13 1/2-ounce) can pineapple chunks drained pineapple chunk, drained - reserve juice
1 cup reserved juice plus enough water to make quantity
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 cup chopped green pepper
hamburger buns or toast

Directions:

Combine evaporated milk, ground beef, onion, cracker crumbs, and salt. Form into small patties and brown in skillet drain fat add pineapple chunks. Add reserved juice with water. Mix cornstarch, vinegar, brown sugar, and soy sauce add cook until thick and clear. Add green pepper. Serve on hamburger buns or toast.
