Chocolate Divinity

Ingredients

1/2 cup light corn syrup
2 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 egg whites
1 (6-ounce) package mini semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup nuts

Directions:

Combine corn syrup, sugar, and salt cook to a firm ball stage. Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add half the syrup mixture into the egg whites. Cook balance of syrup to 272°F, then add to egg white mixture. Beat in semi-sweet chocolate bits add nuts. Drop by teaspoon into paper candy cups or spread in pan and cut.
