Stir-Fried Broccoli With Ginger And Walnuts

Serves: 4

This extremely simple and delicious preparation is made even faster by purchasing precut broccoli florets, jarred minced ginger, and toasted walnuts.


   2 tablespoons vegetable oil
   2 teaspoons minced ginger, fresh or jarred
   12 ounces broccoli florets
   2 tablespoons water
   2 tablespoons soy sauce
   1/2 cup toasted walnuts


Heat the oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Add the ginger and stir-fry for 20 seconds. Add the broccoli and toss to coat with oil. Add the water and cover the wok; steam until the broccoli is barely tender, about 3 minutes. Add the soy sauce and walnuts, and toss to combine before serving.
