Roasted Teriyaki Fries |

Teriyaki sauce is salty, sweet, and tangy. When exposed to high heat, its sugars caramelize and the salinity and acidity intensify. An intriguing coating for French fries, don’t you think?
1 (16-ounce) bag French fries, frozen potatoes, any shape
3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
Heat the oven to 450°F. Crumple a sheet of heavy-duty foil, uncrumple it, and place on a sheet pan. Toss the potatoes and teriyaki sauce and scatter on the foil, trying to avoid having one French fry touching another. Bake until browned and heated through, 15 to 20 minutes; the longer they cook, the crisper they will be.
