Print this Recipe
These citrus-bright lime-scented white beans are a great complement to grilled fish or chicken. And they take less than 3 minutes to prepare.
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic, fresh or jarred organic
1 (16-ounce) can cannellini beans
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
2 teaspoons lime juice, fresh or bottled organic
2 tablespoons chopped Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until aromatic, about 30 seconds. Add the beans, salt, pepper, and lime juice and heat through, about 2 minutes. Stir in the parsley before serving.
