Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients

1 (8-ounce) package spaghetti
1/2 stick butter
1 cup chopped ham or bacon
1/3 cup sliced onion
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 sliced mushrooms
1 salt and pepper to taste
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup half and half
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Boil spaghetti in large pot of salted water. Drain. Melt butter and sauté ham, onion, green pepper, and mushrooms until tender. Add drained spaghetti. Salt and pepper to taste. Add egg beaten with cream. Toss in parmesan cheese and stir until heated through. Remove from heat and serve.
