CARIBBEAN: Mango and other tropical fruit punches turn up throughout the Caribbean, where they make a refreshing nonalcoholic alternative to the knee-weakening rum drinks associated with the region.
_ c mangos, diced, ripe (1 large or 2 medium fruits)
_ c water, or more as needed
_ tbs sugar, or more to taste
_ tbs lime juice, fresh, or more to taste
Ice cubes, for serving
Combine the mango, 2 cups water, and 2 tablespoons each sugar and lime juice in a blender and process until smooth. Add water as needed to thin the punch to pourable consistency, and sugar and lime juice to taste. Pour into tall glasses over ice and serve immediately.
