Chicken Cacciatore


Serves: 4

Ingredients

vegetable oil for frying
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 3-4 pound kimmy chicken fryer, cut up
4 cups spaghetti sauce or marinara sauce

Directions:

Heat oil in a skillet. Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a plastic bag. Add chicken pieces and shake to coat with mixture. Brown chicken in hot oil until golden brown. Cool. Place in a freezer bag. Pour spaghetti sauce over chicken. Seal, label, and freeze.

When ready to serve, pour thawed chicken and sauce into a greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Cover with foil. Bake about 1 hour or until chicken is tender.
