Prune-Nut Cupcakes

   1/2 cup butter or margarine
   1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
   2 eggs
   2 cups flour
   1/2 teaspoon salt
   1 cup milk
   1 teaspoon cider vinegar
   1 teaspoon cinnamon ground
   1 teaspoon baking soda
   1 cup pitted prunes prunes
   1/2 cup raisins
   1/2 cup walnuts chopped
   Powdered sugar


Heat oven to 350° F. Cream butter or margarine with granulated sugar. Add eggs; mix well. Add flour, salt, milk, vinegar, cinnamon, baking soda, prunes, raisins, and walnuts; blend until batter is well-mixed. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups 1/2 full. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. When cool dust with confectioners' sugar.
