Cherry CheesecakeSmoothie

Ingredients

1 egg
4 ounces cream cheese softened and cut in pieces
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups vanilla ice cream softened
1 cup cherry preserves or preserves
1 cup pitted dark sweet cherries frozen partially thawed
6 drops food colors red (optional)

Directions:

Place egg in a blender container. Cover and blend for 15 seconds. Add cream cheese, milk and almond extract. Cover and blend until smooth and creamy. Add ice cream, jam or preserves and dark cherries. Cover and blend until a uniform consistency. Add food color, a drop at a time, until desired color.

Serve in small glasses. Cover and refrigerate leftovers.
