Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups milk
1 cup Cheddar cheese, cubed
1/2 cup Swiss cheese, cubed
1/2 cup pasteurized process cheese spread, cubed
1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked

Directions:

Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat; blend in flour and salt. Stir in milk; cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add cheeses; stir until melted. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and fold into cheese mixture. Spoon into a lightly greased 1-1/2 quart casserole dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Tip: Try using a different shape of pasta next time you make macaroni & cheese. Wagon wheels, seashells and bowties all hold cheese sauce well…they're fun for kids too!
