My wife, Debra (Debbie), is the proud mother of two wonderful sons, Brian and Jason, and a fine stepdaughter, Trista. Working in the secretarial field for fifteen years, Debbie felt she needed a more fulfilling career. Now a certified home health aid, she works with the elderly. She sees five elderly people daily, taking care of their personal care, cooking, light house work, and errands. But what Debbie feels is most important is what these elderly give to her: wisdom, knowledge, caring, compassion, and LOVE.
Debbie finds time to remain very active in her community. For five years, she has sang alto/lead with a mixed gospel quartet, singing for functions in our community as well as in surrounding areas. She is very active in her church, being one of the churches two pianists and being adult choir director. She also holds a church board office. Sometimes she does small-scale catering for friends and for small get-togethers. Her most extensive use of a Betty Crocker product would be the enormous number of Betty Crocker cake mixes she has used over the years in her wedding cakes.
Debbie's Christian love for family, friends, and community is outwardly visible daily. She is always willing to help anyone who asks and goes the extra mile without being asked.
