Brown Sugar Muffins |

1 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
1 egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2 teaspoons baking powder

1. Heat oven to 400°. Grease 12 medium muffin cups, 2 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches, or line with paper baking cups.
2. Mix oats, milk and brown sugar in large bowl; let stand 5 minutes. Add margarine and egg; blend well. Stir in remaining ingredients just until moistened.
3. Fill muffin cups two-thirds full. Bake 15 or 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
