Garlic Parmesan Bread Sticks

Ingredients

1 tablespoon yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup scalded milk
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups flour
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
fresh grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Sprinkle yeast in warm water. Let sit. Combine milk, butter, egg, sugar, salt, garlic and 3 cups flour. Add yeast and remaining flour. Mix well. Dough will be sticky. Let raise for 30 minutes. Put dough in 11 x 17 inch greased baking sheet. Roll with rolling pin to edges of pan. Mix mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and garlic salt. Spread over dough. Cut into bars with pizza cutter. Let rise for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh grated parmesan cheese. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
