Ingredients

1 (8-ounce) package fettuccine or linguine pasta, uncooked
7 tablespoons butter, softened
1 cup half-and-half
1 cups grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Cook pasta according to package directions, just until tender; drain and return to cooking pot. Add butter and half-and-half; stir until butter melts and mixture is heated through. Add Parmesan cheese; stir until thickened.
