Marinate lamb at room temperature for 2 hours in combined oil, vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper. Turn the Iamb once or twice and baste occasionally with the marinade. Remove from marinade and broil for 2 hours or until done, turning frequently and basting with hot barbecue sauce.
