This is the best Turtle Cake recipe on the web!!Sharon Friddle _ German chocolate cake mix _ cup butter __ caramels candy __ hershey bars _ (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk _ eggs ___ cup vegetable oil _ cup water Mix cake according to package and divide in half. To half of the batter add 1 stick of butter and 1/2 of the sweetened condensed milk. Bake in sheet cake pan on 350 for 20-25 minutes. Melt caramels, 1 stick of butter, and the rest of the milk and pour over the top of the cake. Top with the rest of the cake batter and bake for another 25-30 minutes. While hot place hershey bars on top of cake and spread around for frosting.
