Preheat broiler. Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet and brush tops with 2 tablespoons olive oil. Broil 5 inches from heat until golden, about 30 seconds. Turn toasts over and broil until golden. Transfer to a rack to cool.
Combine artichokes and cream in a food processor. Transfer to a bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste. Combine olives, onion, and remaining oil in a bowl. Spread toasts evenly with artichoke cream and top with olive mixture. Drizzle with a little more olive oil before serving.
