Mango-Avocado Salsa

(Salsa de Mango y Aguacate)
Category: Fruit Salsas
Makes about 1 1/2 cups
This is an easy new salsa combining traditional Mexican ingredients. Serve it as a topping for crisp tortilla chips or as a condiment with poultry, pork, or seafood.


   1 large mango, peeled and finely diced
   1 ripe avocado, peeled and finely diced
   2 green onions, very finely chopped
   1 jalapeño pepper, finely chopped
   2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
   1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste


Put all the ingredients into a medium bowl, and stir gently to mix. Refrigerate. Serve cold.
