Trent Shores Panned Oysters

1 pint oyster, drained
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons dry white wine
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
toast points, or rounds of Holland Rusk
lemon wedges


Sauté oysters gently in butter for 8–10 minutes. Remove oysters; add wine and seasonings; heat to a boil. Pour over oysters. Serve on toast with lemon wedges.
