Butter-Herbed Baked Fish

Serves: 3

1/2 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup finely crushed saltine crackers
1/2 teaspoon each: basil, oregano and salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 pound white fish fillets such as halibut or orange roughy


Preheat oven to 350°. Melt butter or margarine. Mix crumbs, herbs, and Parmesan cheese. Dip fish in butter or margarine, then in crumbs. Arrange in baking dish and bake 25–30 minutes.
