Wash and hull the strawberries and drain thoroughly. Crush 2 cups of berries and add enough water to make 2 cups of liquid. Combine the crushed berries sugar and cornstarch and cook stirring constantly over low heat until thickened. Slice the remaining berries and add to the mixture, cooking for one minute more. Add the margarine and cool. Pour the berry mix into the pie crust and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
