Apple Pie

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh ground cinnamon
6 cups sliced apples
1 tablespoon liquid egg substitute

Directions:

In a bowl, mix the sugar, cinnamon and apples.

Prepare a double recipe of one of the unbaked pie crusts and line a 9-inch pie plate with one of them. Fill the pie plate with the apples and cover with the second layer. Fit the second layer to the plate, trim the edges and seal the layers together with a fork. Brush the top with the egg substitute and pierce the top of the pie with a knife several times.

Bake for 45 minutes at 425 degrees until the top is browned and the apples are soft.
