Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the contents of the jar in a large bowl, and stir until well mixed. Pour the butter and vanilla extract over the dry ingredients, and stir to mix. Press the dough lightly into an ungreased 9-x-9-inch baking pan, using the back of a fork, and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the top is light brown in color. Cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars. Serve immediately, or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
