Fresh Pineapple Ice Cream

Serves: 2

2 cups half and half
2 cups cream
3/4 cup sugar or to taste
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups crushed pineapple drained, fresh or canned


Heat creams, sugar, and salt in saucepan until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat cool. Combine cream mixture with extracts and fruit. Pour into ice cream freezer and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
