Lucia's Boursin

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
4 tablespoons butter, softened
4 teaspoons heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/8 teaspoon dried dill
1/8 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 - 1/4 cup coarsely cracked peppercorn


With an electric mixer, beat together cream cheese, butter, and heavy cream on low speed until well blended. Add herbs; blend on low speed. Remove both ends of a clean tuna fish can to use as a mold. Place on wax paper; fill completely with cheese mixture, leveling top of can. Chill in mold for at least 1 hour; remove mold and roll in peppercorns. Serve boursin with crackers.
