Baked Cabbage

Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage shredded or cut in 1/2-inch pieces
10 slices bacon
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 cup light cream

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°. Spray 2-quart casserole with vegetable spray. Place cabbage in casserole. Brown bacon until almost crisp; drain. Combine flour, salt, pepper, sugar, and cream. Stir and pour over cabbage. Sprinkle bacon over surface. Bake, covered, for 35 minutes. Remove cover and bake 10 minutes longer until bacon is browned.
