Fried Apples

Ingredients

1/4 cup margarine
6 medium tart apples, unpeeled and sliced*
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup water (more if needed)

Directions:

In a skillet, heat margarine; add apples, sugar, cinnamon, and water. Cover. Simmer for about 20 minutes or until apples are tender. (If apple mixture starts to thicken before apples are tender, add a little more water.)

*Jonathan apples are best for this recipe.
