Fresh Figs Drizzled in Honey and Cacao


Serves: 6
Total Calories: 80

Ingredients

12 fresh figs
1/2 cup raw honey
1/4 cup cacao powder

Directions:

1. Cut the figs in half and arrange them on a serving platter with the insides faced up.

2. In a small bowl, combine the honey and cacao and mix well to make a syrup. Drizzle the syrup over the figs and serve.

For a Change . . .
* Arrange 1/2 cup fresh seasonal berries around the figs for a visually appealing finish.

FYI . . .
Not only are figs high in fiber, they are a good source of potassium, a mineral linked to controlling blood pressure.
